Women in Motion (WIM) is a training company providing walking and running training programs for women of all ages and athletic abilities.
The training sessions last between 9-12 weeks, depending on the time of year and the length of the event the participants are training for.
The WIM athletes range from beginning walkers and runners , to seasoned runners. A level I, II and III training plan is provided, including weekly group sessions and individual weekly workouts. We are strongly committed to helping our participants increase and maintain their fitness in a safe and enjoyable manner. Our goal is for our participants to find a healthy lifestyle of fitness and health that will positively impact them in all aspects of their lives.
The 2010 participants will be training for distances ranging from a 5K to a half marathon, as well as a mini and/or sprint triathlon (swim-bike-run), and a duathlon (run-bike-run).
In addition to the walking and running programs, Women in Motion holds special classes and workshops throughout the year, such as an outdoor fitness class called Urban Adventures, and a pre-holiday De-stress cardio/yoga workshop.
Women in Motion is also available to hold exercise classes in corporate settings, or for small groups if schedule allows.
